For those in Sydney, the idea has again been raised that we start an hour early when Daylight Savings is in effect.
The main thinking behind this is if we leave at 8am during this period, we will miss a lot of the traffic problems and be able to get out of the city easier..
I have put an Online Poll up for the preferred starting time for Day Light Savings. Please only vote if you attend the Sydney Rides on a regular basis.

Les form Queensland has started to organise a group with the same look and feel as Roadrunners. A few events have already come and gone for Queensland, however new events will be uploaded shortly.

Hi Everyone.
Just an FYI that the Roadwarriors Cafe at Mt White has reopened.
They had their "Soft Opening" on the 6th of June - to train new staff with the official opening happening a little later. They havn't get got a full menu, mainly just coffee, cake, pies and pasties at the moment.

Some people have selected to receive SMS updates from Roadrunners but they have not provided a valid mobile number or in some cases - no number. If you wish to recieve SMS updates go to the My Settings tab and ensure you have selected Recieve SMS updates and your mobile number is correct.

The guys in Queensland are in the process of organising a more formal local bike group. They are looking at organising a ride around the Christmas / NY's period and maybe taking in Tropical Fruits. If anyone is interesting in heading up north for this period let me know. Its a busy time of year up that way so we need to book early. Brad

All of the monthly rides itineraries and destinations for 2009 have now been uploaded to the website but this is by no means set in stone. If anyone has any suggestions for different routes and/or destinations, we are all ears!
Ideally we need to know the route to get there, where to have a coffee and/or lunch stop, and to make sure all roads are sealed etc (as an example). Brad
