Welcome to Roadrunners

Roadrunner's is a motorcycle group for Gay & Lesbian riders. We are not an incorporated group; we don’t have a president, a chairperson or treasurer; and most important we don’t have any membership fees. We don't really care what type of bike you ride; whether it’s a sports tourer, caferacer, chook chaser or highway cruiser you're more than welcome at Roadrunners.

Our group started life in Sydney where it has been established for over 25 years and has a small but active membership. The guys from Queensland have joined us by setting up their own group in 2009.

Our ride philosophy is quite simple: just turn up on the third Sunday of every month and go somewhere! You can see our upcoming rides in the Upcoming Events section.

Anyone is more than welcome to plan and lead a ride including rides away and our traditional Easter long weekend ride.

To receive e-mail updates about rides and other upcoming events that Roadrunners are organising or involved with, create a profile. Subscribe to SMS updates to receive the latest ride info before depature or add yourself to "The Gang".

Above all we like to keep things simple, we are just a group that enjoys riding.

Each Year, James is part of a Charity Ride for Corners for Kids.

Hi everyone

As most of you already know, every year I participate in the Corners for Kids Charity Motorcycle ride. This is an initiative of the financial services industry to give something back to the community. This is my 10th Corners for Kids and once again I will be raising money for the Inspire Foundation (www.inspire.org.au). Inspire helps young people get through tough times and, in particular, aims to prevent youth suicide.

This year the rally runs from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 March 2012 and will visit Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Gloucester, via as many twisty roads as possible. We pay our own way on the rally so all the money you donate goes directly to Inspire.

If you’d like to support this great cause, you can donate via Everyday Hero at the following link.

You can donate by credit card, cheque or BPay, just follow the instructions on the screen.

Thanks for your support
James
